AC comp seized up on my ol' V-ride. The interesting thing is that the compressor pushes the power steering pump. Soooo, I shimmed the power steering pump forward 1.5 inches and ran a belt directly from the crank shaft pulley to the pump so that I wouldn't get a work out driving to and from work until I can get my bearings on what will be required to replace the compressor. AC compressors is all new territory for me so I need some guidance. I can find the part (about $300 refurbed). What I don't know is if the unit comes with the clutch and pulley. Any of you good folks know what the standard practice is for refurbed AC compressors?
