Good afternoon all! I have a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan. I drive it to a friends house today fine and now it won't start.
There appears to be no power to the dash at all except for the radio (wtf). When I turn the key to start it, the
starter sounds fine but it won't catch.
Power locks don't work. Electric trunk release doesn't work. Cabin lights dont work when you open doors or use the dash switch but light up if you press the button on the light.
Front and rear blowers come on when key is on but the power button on the climate control won't turn them off.
Windows work when the key is on.
It cranks but it won't start.
None of the gauges come alive.
Hazards don't work. Headlights and tail lights do.
I checked all the fuses under the hood and they test good with a vom.
I've got 11.8 v at the battery and it drops to 8.4 while cranking then rebounds slowly while idle. Tried jumping it just in case. No good.
Love to hear some suggestions since the garages are closed today and tomorrow. Lol.
Thanks in advance
Edit. Solved it. Removed fuses to bcm (body control module) to basically 'reboot' my car and when I put them back in it started fine and everything (that worked yesterday) works again.
Sounds like the cluster needs to be replace.
Cluster fuse? It should have one.
