In my case, the Floetrol worked. But I admit to being mostly ignorant when it comes to most painting products. Any additional thoughts would be appreciated.

XIM vs Flotrol

After I posted this I came across a thread on a painting site where several painters all said XIM better. Something about it being thinner and that it will last longer. The reason I ask is I have a bottle of it but see a lot of people saying to use Flotrol. Wanted to get some opinions before i bought some of the flotrol. Now that I think of it, i bought the XIM because it was more expensive. Just figured it must be better since it cost more. Several of these same painters also said the Flotrol is more widely available so that may be why more people know about it.
