Wind blew dirt on my newly stained deck

I have applied a coat of stain to a mahogany deck, and apparently the wind kicked up afterwards and blew sand and dirt on it. What's the best approach to address this. Does the whole job have to be redone?

If the stain was a penetrating type that doesn't have much of a film ( like Olympic toner) you might get lucky. I wouldn't do anything till its completely dry, then you might use a blower and a broom to blow the dirt off for the most part.
Depends on the stain, oil stains that soak in a lot aren't usually very tacky when wet. but a latex or a oil solid stain? Could be a mess.
If you have to touch it up keep in mind that most deck stains can be over applied. And over applied stain always peels. Check the specs on the particular stain.
