Will I gain anything with a 2nd coat on ceiling?

I finished rolling the livingroom 27x13 with vauled ceiling going from 8' to 12' at the peak. The ceiling was painted Behr ultra pure white 11+ years ago. We have a heavy knockdown texture on the ceiling. I used Dunn Edwards Suprema Flat SP1 Pure White. I used a 3/8" Purdy roller and put a good coat on and it looks perfect. So, my question is, am I gaining anything with the second coat? I could put another one on, but I am thinking why at this point? Now when we had the texture put on 11 years ago I sprayed two coats of primer and two coats of paint to ensure everything was sealed.

If you think it looks good, it's done.

Titan, I would suggest that if you do a second coat, or in the future, always use 1/2 inch cover when rolling flats, especially on texture. Life is much easier that way.

Thanks, I guess I was just figuring why go through the motions again if the coverage is good, except this morning I did find a 1/4" x 2" strip near the wall that I missed, rolling white on white hard, the only reason I saw it was the prior white was 1 sheen step above flat, I hit that again with the roller and some paint, an hour later it's dry and looks great. I walked the set up a flood light in a corner to highlight the ceilings to look for any other spots, could find nothing. I really light this flat paint on the ceilings!

I think I am going to stick with the one coat since I can't find any other spots, and I don't wash my ceilings ; )

I never believed in putting too much paint on ceilings. Why? Because unless you missed some spots or it looks streaky, no one really pays attention to what's above their heads. I used SW's Classic 99 for many years and it was a one coat ceiling paint. SW went and messed with the formula, now calling it Brilliance, & it takes two coats to get good coverage. Consider yourself very lucky to get one coat that looks that good. Well done.
