We have recently moved into an old 70's split level house which we are renovating like crazy. One of the projects on our "to do" list is changing out the brick color of our floor to ceiling fireplace. It is a fairly deep red brick with shades of black added into some of the bricks. I dont mind the red coloring so much, but I am really intrested in more of a white-washed look. I have been researching staining the brick, painting the brick & white-washing it. Does anyone have any suggestions??? Thx JM
Never ever...(pretty much...at least not w/o involving a project-specific/expensive contractor and mucho bucks..if it indeed it is at all possible), and please consider this in your choice
In respect to that and your wishes/desires, I'd pop over to your local Paint Store and ask them what they have that's legal and available in your area for this app.
Do not go to Lowes/HD type deals for advice on this project
This type of thing is truly a "commitment", and you'll want the best advice (specific and local) possible for your specific app.
