Whats Better Then Rustoleum?

I've been painting the fence outside my house with Rustoleum. I've noticed in the area thats finished that the paint leaves a chalky residue if you run your finger along it. Is there a better paint to use?

Oh good lord yes
Rustoleum is adequate enough for kid's bikes and Bilco doors
Not my recommendation for a fence by any stretch

I'd go with a solid stain myself (bare wood/scraped and sanded re-paint), but as it's partly done with an oil-based enamel, you might want to head on down to the local Paint Store and see what's available in your area (oils are being phased out) to go over and/or continue the job

Thanks for the suggestions. I should have known BM would have had something. I painted the whole inside of my house with their product.

M-22 is one serious coating

If it's been phased out in your area, ask for the P-22
That would be the replacement
I believe it's just a label change (to a 'metal only' coating), but haven't used the P-22 yet to give you a personal opinion on it

This for a top coat.
