What type paint for kitchen cabinets?

I'm paint my existing kitchen cabinets inside and out. Mixture of existing wood and new wood. Cleaned existing wood with TSP and sanded. Plan to spray on primer and finish with air gun and removing cabinets and spraying outside. Do I use latex or oil base for primer and finish? Any brands to suggest or stay away from? Color will be white. Also, any sanding between coats? I don't mind any extra prep work... I want a good durable, strong finish.

What type paint for kitchen cabinets?

I painted professionally for 6 years before I got into the trade im in now. We used a good oil primer on all out interior wood work (that was to be painted).. I am a big fan of Satin Impervo. Pricey but you get what you pay for. When I bought my house 5 years ago I repainted everything floor to ceiling and used Impervo on my wood. Only need to sand the primer.

I would use oil all the way. I perfer Zinsser Cover Stain for primer and second the BM Satin Impervo for topcoat.
