What size plastic sheeting to use?

Before I start, I'm going to use this plastic sheeting to construct a temporary sterile room (like on Dexter) for mushroom cultivation, not paint. However, since plastic sheeting is used in painting, and since spraying rubbing alcohol / bleach solution all over the plastic sheeting would be like paint splattering on it, I chose to post this here. I am wondering if I should use 1mil, 2mil or 4mil plastic sheeting to cover the room. The sheeting will undergo the following stresses: being sprayed by some type of cleaning agent, being walked on, and being put up and taken down probably biweekly. I am worried that 1mil may be too thin to sustain repeated use, but 4mil is kind of expensive. What size would work best here?
I need less than 300 square feet to cover the floor, ceiling, and walls.

What size plastic sheeting to use?

If you want to use it repeatedly I'd go with 6 mil. Especially for the floor. Nothing else will hold up to traffic.

I'm not sure what effect the chemicals will have on the plastic however.
