What should be first

Hello everyone,
I've heard two different stories on my topic so I decided to put it out there and try to get more feedback from professionals or those with more experience. I'm about to have two major jobs done to my home, replace all new windows in my home and then have the home repainted OR visa versa--- that's the debate, should I have the windows installed before or after the home is painted? Thanks much!!! Charlie

I'd replace the windows 1st
If they need to replace trim you will want it painted
Of course I'd paint the trim before installing it
And you don't want the window guys marking up the new paint job with their ladders

Replacement windows or new construction windows?

Windows first. You always want to paint last.
