What kind of paint for exterior trim?

I had a little diy project to paint my brown aluminum trim to a nice white trim and repaint the white around the window as well. What paint do you recommend and should i paint the gutters too? as far as prep just a power wash would do?

Powerwashing will be overkill for what little painting you are doing. You'll get water everywhere. Just get a bucket, fill with some water/krud cutter and clean with a sponge........rinse well and the surface is ready for paint. I always hate painting gutters white because they end up dirty in about a month's time........but if you must, a good cleaning/rinsing.......prime with a good bonding primer (not completely necessary) and topcoat with a latex paint of your choice. I like SW's SuperPaint for gutters/aluminum.

Fabian, clean them and see what they look like........if they still have that "ground in dirt" look, it might be time for some fresh paint.

As previously suggested. Clean first, prime any bare aluminum with SW DTM Bonding Primer and apply 2 coats of a quality 100% acrylic latex. I have always had good results with SW Superpaint on exterior aluminum.
