What to do with extra paint?

I bought 4 cans thinking it would be necessary to paint the kitchen. But in the end it seems I'll only use just two (if even).

So I have 2 cans of a color I hate - what to do with them? Can I possibly add another tint and change the color to something else - like an orange by adding red?

Or am I just stuck with two cans of yellow paint with donation my only option?

Donate them to Habitat for Humanity.

Donate or keep them for later use............sometimes you need paint to spruce up a basement wall or closets............I keep most of my leftover paint and after a while I put what's left in a 5 gallon bucket and see what color I come up with...........usually a taupe, perfect for some hidden away room or closet.

This summer i have been on a major mission to eliminate 30 years of left over paints.
I have a sheet of plywood with rosin paper on it ( with boards around side to make trough) and pour out a gal and spread thin. I have a blower fan on it all the time.
Dries out a gal in about 2 days.
I hear in the hot west- pour out thin on hot sand- takes a couple hours..

You can go back to the paint store and ask them to re-tint them.
