Is water based enamel permeable?


The alkyd oil based stuff wasn't it was a solid shell that didn't allow anything through.
Is water based enamel the same?

Agreed they are not the same, but both are permeable to some degree.

Permeable, Yes. However it is very very very slow for any liquids or gas/air to pass through.
