Wallpaper Borders

I am going to paint some rooms in my house and was wondering if people still use wallpaper borders or are they out of style? Most of my rooms have crown molding but my bathrooms have nothing and they just seem so plain in comparison. I don't want to put crown molding in those rooms so I was wondering about the borders.

No wallpaper borders unless you are looking to the 1980's.

I haven't put up a border in at least 5 years but have taken down a LOT.
