Question

Wall Themes

I am helping my mother-in-law paint and remodle her bathroom. She wants a beach scene/atmosphere. Where is a good place I can go online or in RL that I can get ideas on colors, paper, accessories, ect? Or just basic ideas?

Magazines are great sources for that kind of thing
They don't even have to be new
Check out the magazine area of the library
As I live on a giant sandbar out in the ocean (pretty much) I can safely say any magazine that has the words "Cape Cod" and life/decorating/remodeling/style/design/home/cottage/etc. would work

...actually, I should take a picture of my shower curtain and post it up

Check out family owned seafood restaurants and tiki bars. A lot of times they have cool beach scenes painted on the walls. The chain restaurants aren't really that interesting as far as I've seen. Also think about the time of day you want to go for dawn, noonish, sunset, .... . Also go to www.images.google.com and search beach mural. I did it real quick and found some pretty cool stuff on the first page.

Here is a link to HGTV:

It may give you some ideas to use. We watch their shows all of the time.
