I plan on buying a Wagner procoat 2800 paint sprayer. It's about $225.00 at menards. This is for occasional use but for larger projects ,like my house and barn. Any pros or cons ? Any advice?
Thanks ,Barry
I would spend a little bit more for a Graco Magnum x7
I have one very limited use. more bang for your bucks. I am nor pro painter by any stretch of the imagination. But if I build a shed I will Paint it for my customer if they want it painted.
I am not familiar with that sprayer. If you plan on using a sprayer occasionally there is always the option to rent an airless. If you do want to purchase an airless I would say that you would want one that pumps at least .25gpm that is sufficient for a diyer, at least 3000psi and buy a sprayer that will accept up to a .017 tip, as most paints require a .017 or smaller. A piston pump sprayer is better than diaphragm and will last longer. The airless sprayers at box stores usually have less quality internal parts even though they are brand name sprayers. Graco is a good sprayer company and so is Titan who also owns spraytech and wagner.
