Valspar Primer?

I know Valspar products aren't highly regarded, but I was initally planning to use their new drywall primer on a bathroom that we just finished and has bare drywall followed by 2 coats of the valspar paint. I called SW and they have their primer for about $20/gallon and paint. Materials are about 2x from SW. We painted our upper level with PPG & Valspar using a wagner power roller and it was okay, covereage was sometimes difficult. Is there a noticable difference in performance between SW & Valspar?

In short, Yes, SW will outperform Valspar all day long.
