I will be staining a small track area for the local Y for children to ride their tricycles. I have to stripe yellow lines in the middle of the track. I purchased a rustoleum striping wand at Lowes. I have never used one before. Any suggestions about keeping the lines straight and true with sold edges all around? I'd rather not tape each one. I intend to use a chalk line as a center mark and guide the can over it.
I use mine occasionally. Very hard to keep a straight line using just the wheel. I just wave it over the pavement, impossible for a crisp line without protecting the surface. Cut a 3"? wide slot x 7' long in a 12" piece of 1/4" plywood or linoleum. Line up on the caulk line, spray away.
Be safe, Gary
