Using Rustoleum Restore Coating On Weathered Deck

I am helping a friend out with his deck. The wood is sturdy, not rotted but weathered and does not hold paint well. I came across Rustoleum Deck and Concrete Restore a link is here: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Restore-4...7#.Uo7QtCet05k

The price is higher in comparison to paint but if it will stick it would probably be worth it. Please tell me if any of you have used it and how long to expect it to last or if you have another suggestion I would like to hear it as well.

Thanks in advance

Also, JeffNC is doing a test on a deck he did…….if you search some of his posts you may find some very useful info.
