Touraine Paint Coach Red


Can touraine paint still be bought or is it out of business? Is there another brand that is similar to there coach red?

What are you painting? I never heard of that brand, but most quality paints can match a color.

I worked as an Outside salesman for Touraine Paint for 22 yrs. I covered NH and parts of MA. Touraine Paint went out of business in March 1994. Tru-Flex Coach Red # 699 was one of the better sellers. A previous person said you can go to a paint store and their computer can match it... that is correct but my recollection is that the colorants that went into 699 were of a better quality than what you would get from a "custom" made color match at a paint store. That is why it had excellent color retention. I suggest you purchase a stock red from a reputable company. BTW where in New England do you live?
