thinning solid stain

Can I thin Bahr solid stain to get it through a pump up sprayer

I'm sure you could but then the stain would be about useless.
What is it your trying to spray? If it's a deck do not do it. It's just not going to put enough stain on the wood to make it worth while, and there will be to much over spray and it will end up on the siding.
You would be better off using an airless sprayer if you trying to stain something.

If you are using Behr it's already pretty much useless. Get a decent brand of stain like Sikkens and apply it properly.
