Suggestions on stain for fence

I have a cedar/PT picket fence I put up last fall.
300 feet worth
I want to make it as white as possible.
Would prefer to stain it.
Spray would be good also.

I have an air compressor and a HLVP gun, but the canister on top is rather small, I think I will spend a lot of time filling this.

I am looking for suggestions on sprayer, brand and type of stain.
I would like it to be white - do not want to paint due to future maintainence.

Sikkens, Cabot's Pro VT, BM Arborcoat, PPG Sun Proof and SW Woodscapes are all quality solid color acrylic stains and I think most are self priming.

Forget your HVLP gun. Just rent a professional airless sprayer at the store where you buy the paint. They'll also need to fix you up with the right size tip for the coating and spray pattern.

I'd spray and then backbrush for best results.

I was thinking I was going to use oil based. Is there a reason why I shouldn't?

I would go with the Cabot ProVt and apply it with an airless sprayer, back rolling and brushing as needed on the first coat and then just spraying on a second coat That is my choice of solid stains and I do prefer acrylic for solid stains to use on verticle substrates. We use the ProVt often followed by SW Woodscapes.

Oil is fine. It would be my first choice. It is much les likely to peel.
