Does anyone have experience in what would be the best to seal stucco to make it water proof from rain can not penetrate it? Would just semi or gloss latex do it?
I went to a paint store and the employee did not seem to know anymore than I. They just wanted to sell me the most expensive stuff without explaining why.

Kelly Moore I think is in your area,They have some great Elastomeric products. It was formulated in S California just for Stucco. I have used Elastomeric products ever since they hit the market. They work great for just what your wanting to do. Have you herd of Dryvit systems? Their base product in that, is Elastomeric. If by chance you go with a Elastomeric paint product, buy all that you need at the same time. Ask the rep if your order is the same batch. When using this product do not stop painting in the middle of a gable,or the middle of a wall. It will be hard to match if you do stop as mentioned above. Good Luck to you.
