stripping paint on deck

Hello...I want to strip the old paint on a porch deck to repaint it. Whoever did it didnt put any kind of sealer i dont think and its peeling and the wood looks old now. I know it hasnt been that long since it wuz built, maybe 6 or 7 yrs ago...
The owner wants me to redo the whole thing strip the old peeling paint and re paint it the same color i dont know why. But anyway I am looking for advice on how to take it off smoothly. The wood is just 2x3, 2x4, and 2x6's. I do the electrical there so im kinda iffy about this one haha. Thanks for any responses

stripping paint on deck

Box stores sell deck cleaning product which you put down, leave for a bit and rinse off with a power washer. Careful with the power washer though...too high and concentrated stream can rip the wood and raise the grain.
