We are going to stain our wood floors after we sand. What is the difference between the Minwax Polyurethane and the Minwax Polyurethane Floors? Is it worth the extra money in your opinion?
Absolutely
1) It dries much faster, meaning less dust can fall on it while it's still wet (and dust always falls on floors), so less little lumpies in your finish
2) It's much more durable for foot traffic
There may be other differences, but those two alone make it worth it
I ended up buying the more-expensive Minwax Polyurethane Floors. One nice thing is if you've just stained your floors, instead of 3 coats of polyurethane, they say only to apply 2 coats.
