solid staining a deck
My deck was solid stain about 6 years ago, The people that did was in a hurry and did a lousy job.

Now it is starting to peel. Should I just pressure wash it, then kilz it then put the solid stain on it? Do I need to stain the bottom of it also?

6 years for a deck coating would be considered excellent out my way

The best way to re-coat it now would be to powerwash it, scrape off any loosely adhering stain, feather sand out the scraped areas, wipe/blow off the dust, then solid stain it again

Primer would only be needed in very specific circumstances
Unless there is something you are not telling us, you shouldn't need it
If you did need it you should not use Kilz, but rather something rated for foot traffic (deck stain specific)

You could seal the bottom if you want too, but at this point it's just an option or personal preference

you mean I don't have to stain every board I mean on the bottm side?

Not unless you want to

Usually I don't stain the under side of any deck unless the customer wants it. Its a personal preference thing. It doesn't hurt anything if you don't.
