Shuffleboard Court in Basement
I am planning to remodel my basement and would like to build a shuffleboard court on the floor. I could just paint directly on the concrete (I have done this before using a stencil) but I think it would make a more unique and attractive installation to paint the shuffleboard court lines overtop a smooth wood simulated surface. For example, I was thinking of using vinyl planking. My question is related to painting suffleboard lines overtop a vinyl planking surface. Would that hold up? What kind of surface prep or sealing would you recommend? Thanks in advance! Rick

Rick--I'm going to move this to 'painting'----I think you will get your answer there---

I guess in a basement and if determined to go vinyl, I would use sheet vinyl with fewer seams than planks. Pick whatever pattern you want.

You could use a quality floor porch and patio paint over that I guess. You might look into large output vinyl graphics for the floors. You could really do some fun designs and the vinyl applique material might hold up better than paint although the edges might get caught by the discs.

Check with a large output graphic place near you to determine what computer files to submit.
