Should I paint before I put drywall back up?

I am rehabbing a studio apartment that had some earth wood contact/ moisture mold issues. The bottom 6" of sheet rock had black mold so I cut the bottom 24" out. I am going to hit the inside of the walls (bottom plate, 2"X4" framing, back side of the wall sheeting) with a good moldicide then I was thinking of putting a coat of paint with a mild moldicide on everything before I put the sheet rock back up.

Is painting the inside of the wall a good idea to slow down future mold/rot or can it cause things to sweat or cause other problems? Is painting the back side of the sheet rock before installation ok?

If you have a continued problem of moisture getting into your walls, then you need to fix this before you paint or drywall anything. If moisture gets in, mould will develop and rot will occur eventually. Fix the problem, then put it back together.
