Sherwin Williams New Emerald Paint - Any reviews?

Hi, I'm thinking about using this paint for an exterior home. They are having a 40% off sale this weekend and I'd like to get it if the opinon is that it is better that Aura or Duration? Has anyone used it? Please advise and many thanks.

I used it for the first time on an exterior back in August. It was aluminum siding and the paint performed well. It goes on smoothly. Is it worth $70 a gallon when not on sale? Not so sure. I still prefer SuperPaint. I will say that it dries quickly so you can't fool around when putting it on. And, for a low VOC paint, it sure had an obnoxious smell to it. It's thin bodied and that sort of worried me, but, I did a 2-story aluminum sided home and only needed 3 gallons for the body of the home so it goes a long way, at least on a smooth surface.

Chris, what is the usual price of Aura? If it's less than $70 a gallon, I'd like to try it. We now have a BM dealer in our area.

The SW paint store salesman told me the only difference between Duration and Emerald is that the latter is a zero VOC paint. He said if it is for exterior application, the VOC count should not make any difference. Regarding Duration, our painter advised to use the sheen instead of flat because sheen resists the sun's UV rays better, especially if the color is light.
