Sherwin Wiiliams options

Hi. Went to sw to get paint samples for basement. They have many options/types of paint. Any thoughts on what to go with?

I'm thinking the ceiling paint option is the way to go for ceilings.

But for walls they had regular, velvet, easy clean, low voc etc. Any thoughts on the products? Haven't looked into price differences yet.

For ceilings I use Emminence flat and walls SuperPaint Satin.

Yup. And let them know how the basement will be used. Will the walls need to be washable on a frequent basis? Scuff resistant? Or is it just a mellow environment to sit around the hookah and watch sappy foreign chick flicks.

Unless it is something like Cheyenne Mountain? The she types in your life will find it. You will find subtle hints like doilies in your man cave and little crystal dishes for pretzels and chips from a really, special, super sale at Tuesday Morning!

Brother, if you want a true cave you must go there in your mind. Fold yourself into a lotus position and just hmmmm. But even then you run great risk!

"Wow! You do yoga down here? Let me grab my pink/lavender/teal matte and we can do it together! This is going to be so fun! I love you honey I will be right back! Would you mind if Mitzi, Buffy and Tricia came over too!"

So you're saying I need to add a high quality combination lock to the list of things to buy

Absolutely and when you find the model with the combination she will not talk out of you, let us all know.

There is one talisman you might hang on the door to keep her out. You would need some fishing line, an awl, and a pair of broken high heel shoes. Start with blood red ones. Go ahead, raid the collection and then wait! Of course even though her size 83 feet would never fit in the size 8 she wore as a kid she was saving those.

Do not fold as she starts breathing smoke like a dragon but, ignoring my own rule? "Never feed gasoline to a fire breathing dragon?" With exact translated words as below!

In a language she does not speak and could not easily translate with Google? Make a sign that says something like this:

"And They Never Did Match Your Purse!"

She will scurry instantly so far from your man cave! I promise.

Dr. Fluffy was the smoker in my household for a long time. She tried to keep the habit outside. But I would find these ashtrays with sculptures by her workspaces.

She was both bottle blonde and said she was a virgin when I met her. Or could be part of the born again virgin movement if I insisted. I had always wanted one or the other. Natural blondes are no fun at all.

I would use Masterhide for ceiling and Superpaint for walls, both are great products.

Good Luck!
