Sheetrock First Coat Primer


I have, but I'm funny that way!

First coat tries to do the opposite of a primer sealer- instead of equally sealing the wall up, it tries to make it equally porous , kind of like a skim coat.

There's a place for that. But for almost all wall finishing I would use something else. Its kind of like builders flat in primer form.

I saw that. And you didn't answer his or any other questions.
You are just looking for First Coat.

Qs that will lead to better answers-
What are the walls like that you are priming? ( all new? textured or smooth?)
What is the finish paint that you plan to use?

Do you read any other similar threads here? There are a few..
