sealant/aggregate

I will be sealing my aggregate drive way and wanted to know how long i can wait up to(max # of days) to seal it, after pressure washing. It had rained on it that night after the cleaning. Is it best to wait a few more extra days for temp to reach 75-80 vs 60-65 degrees ?
Also i will be filling the expansion joints (as wide as 1 1/2") with backer rod and wanted to know the best type of sealant to use over it.
Any info is appreciated.

Hard to advise without knowing which sealant you are using? What does the label say? What is the minimum temperature needed and for how long for it to cure?

It's the eagle brand aggregate sealer. I will wait till Mon when it will be 79 out.will have been 5 days and 1 rain shower since pressure wash.
I was going to use the foam in a roll form1inch wide and use the spectrum 2 (sealant in a thin plastic sauasage casing) over the foam.
