repainting roof edge flashing, etc
The flashing around my house is peeling and needs repainting. I think it is galvanized steel. Do I need to completely strip the edge? How do I go about prepping and painting the roof edge?

Galvanized metal does not hold paint very well unless it is primed properly. You need Galvite primer from Sherwin-WIlliams, then topcoat with a paint of your choice. Definitely have some work ahead of you. Scrape as much loose paint off as you can before starting.
