Removing paint from finished wood
 

OK. Here's the issue. When I moved into my place, my landlord had it painted and the painter he hired must have been blind or something because he did an AWFUL job. He got paint all over the wood that surrounds the windows and along the floor. What can I do to remove this paint without hurting the wood below it? Thanks!

Unfortunately, that's not terribly uncommon for a "Property Manager's Special" paint job

Fortunately, a rag, and some Oops! or Goof Off!, and lots of rubbing and possibly a putty knife (if needed) should remove most of it
