removing oil based paint off of brick
I bought an older house that now has vinyl siding. I was told that it once had wood siding. It seems to me that they once painted the siding and decided to hit the brick with the brush, splatter paint on it too and was too lazy to cover prior to painting the siding.
My question is what and how do I get the paint off the brick?
I am guessing the paint is oil based as most of the interior paint was as well.
Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions.
There are some products designed to get paint off of bricks. I believe most are acids and if you aren't careful can lead to some nasty burns on any exposed skin (trust me.) You can also try a heat gun or IR paint stripper.
