Removing latex paint from capeting....

Sharing a tip I learned this weekend.

My brother-in-law was helping his sister by painting the dark paneled walls in her carpeted basement. He had his power roller set to "Paneling" which apparently caused paint spatter onto the carpet.

Her daughter did some internet research and found recommendations for use of isopropyl alcohol. So my sister-in-law used a spray bottle to mist the alcohol onto the 2-day old paint spatter, let it soak for a while, then scrubbed the spatter with a damp cloth.

All paint came free from the carpet!

Wow...thanks for the tip. Glad to know that one. I'm sure we've all had that little problem, lol.
