Question

Removing Excess Stain That Dried

Hi,

I was staining a bookshelf and I did not remove the excess stain from all areas (missed a puddle or two). How is the best way to remove the excess stain (now that it is dried and goopy)? I would like the stain not to come off on my carpet or objects I place on the bookshelf.

Thank you in advance,
-Jabba
