removing or covering paint on new unpainted rough plaster

I have never had experience with new rough plaster. All of my experience has been with drywall and joint compound or older plaster that has been previously painted.

I am painting a new house that has had the walls and ceilings plastered. I used a masonry primer on the walls and the homeowner decided not to paint the ceilings at this point. We hit the ceiling once with our roller while painting the walls with masonry primer and once with SW Duration Matte finish wall paint.

What options do we have to fix our errors on the ceilings? Our first thought was to try spackle or some watered down joint compound to cover the paint and dab at it with an old brush to get it to blend in with the plaster. I think the spackle would look a little light but joint compound would be pretty close to the color of the unfinished plaster.

None...sorry
Call the plasterers back for touch up...if possible...and pay them whatever they need
