lprome Newbie   Join Date: Jun 2012 Posts: 1	removal of rust on an old cast iron tub how do I remove rust from an old cast iron tub...all i want to do is display it in my shop and I would like to remove the rust on the outside of the tub then paint it

If it's fairly heavy rust you can use some sandpaper or a wire wheel disc on your drill to take it off.
