Removal of peeling semi gloss paint from ceiling

L Lacey Newbie   Join Date: Aug 2008 Posts: 1	Removal of peeling semi gloss paint from ceiling I removed the peeling wallpaper from my kitchen ceiling to find patchy and peeling semi-gloss paint on plasterboard. Is there an easy way of removing this?

sirwired Member   Join Date: Jun 2007 Posts: 550	Removal of peeling semi gloss paint from ceiling Nope. Scrape, and sand. You must remove ALL the loose paint, or no topcoat will go well. However, if a particular patch is sticking to the wall fine, you don't need to remove it. SirWired
