What does everyone think of using Peel Away 1 for this particular application?
Looks like a good system. Unfortunately I cannot find any NZ suppliers for it. While searching, I found http://www.i-strip.co.nz, looks like it's worth a try when it comes to preparing my house for painting.
Am, is that photo an example of the worst? I look at that and think I can make a good go of that with a palm sander and an 80 - 100 sequence, or so, of paper, some spackle and caulk. I understand the 100 years of coatings on it but, as Joecaption said, there is no fine detail being diluted by them. I said in a earlier post about using peel for nasty looking trim, but that doesn't quite fit my description of nasty. I'll stay with my original stand, use the technique that fits the need.
