Question

Register Fan is rusty


I have a ceiling Register Fan but 1/4 of the fan is rusty so Which spray will I buy either lightly grey glossy and the white glossy?

Register Fan is rusty


Remove it from the wall, clean it, sand off the rust, remove any dust, and spray several coats of white (rattle can) spray paint on it.....done!

Krylon, RustOleum, either one is fine. Gloss is best for those kind of registers.

Register Fan is rusty


There is a reason for the rust and while the register is down possibly the cause of moisture in that area can be determined. With more pictures at that disassembled point possibly someone can see what the culprit is.
