recoat solid deck stain

Hi,
I stained my deck two years ago using gray solid stain. Of course it is chipping and has a lot of wear and tear. I was going to strip and re stain with a semi transparant but that seems way to difficult now. So my question is this: If i want to just recoat it with the same (or similar) solid stain what steps should I take? I want the easiest/quickest approach. Do i have to sand it? do I have to clean it? or can i just pressure wash- let dry- prime- restain? If i do have to clean what should I use? also I dont know exactly what stain I used...oil vs latex... does that matter when priming and restaining? Also I used like maybe valspar or some Home Dept brand of stain- can I use cabot primer and stain if I can get it to match the color, or should I use the same (lesser) product.
My ideal plan would be to get it done this weekend- clean and rinse (no pressure washing) today, prime tomorrow, stain sunday... is it even possible to do it that quick.
Thanks I know there are alot of questions but we are trying to sell our house and just want the best yet most cost effective quickest approach.

Thanks so much
Jessica
