puttyknives
Can anyone tell my what de difference is between an bent puttyknive and a normal one. I have to "re-putty" several windows and would like to know if a bentknife will give a better result or would be easier to use.

I prefer a 1" straight putty knife, a bent one would be a personal preference.

Are you putty-ing or re-glazing?
The angled one can help with re-glazing But IMO doesn't replace the straight It's a good helpful addition to the arsenal |
