I painted a ceiling with bm moresco white with no colorant and I left a lot of obvious roller streaks. I primed with fresh start primer and did not have any streaks when that dried, but after the first coat of the paint I see a lot of them. Im using a 1/2 nap purdy roller and painting from a ladder. The paint before I primed was beige and I did not any obvious streaks like I do now with the same lighting.
Think it will improve with another coat? Is there a paint that might work better as I have a few more ceilings to paint? Any advice on techniques to use to avoid leaving streaks would be welcome.
I think another coat will do it. The primer made the ceiling white and then you used a white paint on top of that so you probablt missed some spots you thought you were covering. Very common. I think standing on the ground with a pole will help a lot too.
