Priming MDF
I've got some MDF coverpanels I'm working with (access doors that are flush with the wall) that open on hinges ----that over utility meters, shut off valves, etc.
It will be paint grade. Applied 1st coat of Gardz, May do a second. Just knock it down with 120 and paint away right ? |

Priming MDF
I've got 4 primers in my stash....some more than others....
The primers I want to use up is.... gardz , fresh start Premium or Bin Blue. The Bin Red I don't have enough for these panel covers.....but yeah, bin red would have been my 1st choice. The panel doors are flush with the wall (inset). I'l going to scuff it a little later to see how it feels after I light scuff. When I was putting the gardz....I was second guessing and wishing I had the oil down... |

EDIT - Just got to thinking (not always a good thing) but since the edges are the most susceptible to moisture, just seal the edges with what BIN red ya got and use whatever else for the surfaces.
