? priming ?
I built a play house for my daughter and now it is time for the wife to paint the outside ( I hate to paint). I used pre primed siding and soffit but their are a few things that are not primed. The used aluminum windows, the old wood doors ( that have stain on them) and some new pine I used for decoration pieces. My wife primed them once ( doing a very good job) Now she is asking me should she put another coat of primer on before she paints. Help I do not Paint. Like I have a clue. My gut tells me one coat is good 2 must be better but I really do not know.
There is almost never a reason for two coats of primer
It's not supposed to look "white" like it was painted or anything
It just seals and helps the paint adhere
It sounds like your covered
No more primer for you!
The wife will love to hear that thank you. She asked me to help and after 5 minutes and some primer dripping all over the floor she said "thanks honey I can do the rest" Man I was out of their in a hurry.
