primer question

I just painted my bathroom Benjamin Moore soft chinchila. I primed the walls with a tinted primer that the BM store mixed for the soft chincila (He labeled the can soft chin. primer). Does that mean that I can't use this primer for the next paint job (which isn't soft ch.)? TIA

Hello Hegster,
Soft chinchilla is a base 2 bluish green color if itís what Iím thinking of, that color might not have really needed a tinted primer to begin with but it does help with coverage and blocking of the underlying colors. But to answer your question you can use a tinted primer on any job you would like just keep in mind if itís a deep color in a clear base it may require more coats to cover. Let us know how everything went and have a nice day.
Thanks, Jeff
