Primer over oil base poly

I received some bad advise. After priming and painting hardwood floors, I was told to seal it with an oil based floor poly. But it left my white paint yellow. Can I put zinsser 123 primer over the ploy?

Primer over oil base poly

Oh, you did get some bad advice. And now have a problem.
Whatever you do use to prime it- the poly needs to be sanded well to get a physical bond. 123 isn't a good choice for floors.
I'm going to hold off and see if someone ( ric to the rescue!) has a gooder primer idea than what I'm thinking of...

(BTW- if you used a floor enamel- no top coat needed. )

In the history of bad ideas, I'm sorry to say that painting hardwood floors is in the top 5.
