Prime with roller and spray spec. primer?

I need to buy another 18L bucket of primer. I found a bunch of stuff for $50 at a habitat for humanity store, but it stated it was for spray application (I'll be applying it with a roller). It seemed to be aimed at contractors.

Is it any different from the other stuff?

My guess is it might be thinned a bit or have some sort of spray conditioner in it but you should be able to roll it without problems. Just be prepared for a bit extra splitter and slow down your roller a bit.

Prime with roller and spray spec. primer?

Guys there are products out there that can only be sprayed because they are so thick (block filler comes to mind) but there are others. If it says spray only there is a reason, at the least get the name of the product google it and find out why spray only.

Prime with roller and spray spec. primer?

Most high build products (primers, interior paints, texture paints, block fillers) require spray application, as they are applied at up to 30-40 wet mils in some cases. The 6-2 is a regular interior latex primer.
